This 1970s-era drink, named for the popular film “The Godfather,” is often made with equal parts of Whiskey and sweet Amaretto, but this recipe dials down the sweetness.
Add the ingredients into an ice-filled mixing glass. Stir well and then serve in a tumbler over one large cube (or even an ice ball). Garnish with a brandied cherry if you wish.
