Cocktail History
Dark ‘n’ Stormy is a delightful and classic cocktail usually enjoyed on warm days. Originally created in Bermuda in the late 1800s, the recipe blends dark rum with ginger beer (and sometimes a squirt of lime) to create a unique and thirst-quenching treat. This cocktail was originally made by combining Gosling’s dark rum with their own intensely flavored ginger beer – a combination that still reigns supreme today. Ingredients
- 2 oz Rum
- 3 oz Ginger Beer
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- Garnish: Lime wedge
Cocktail Preparation
Fill a highball glass (or rocks glass) with ice cubes, add rum, pour in ginger beer, and, lastly, add the lime juice. Stir using a bar spoon. Garnish with a lime wedge.
