Cocktail History

The Brave Bull cocktail has an unexpected backstory. During the 1950s, a bartender named Don Javier Delgado Corona created the Brave Bull while tending bar in Jalisco, Mexico. The cocktail quickly became popular as it was crafted with tequila and Kahlua to create a thick and sweet concoction. It served as an excellent nightcap for patrons at Cantina Buenos Aires. Brave Bull eventually spread throughout the United States and is now a popular item on bar menus around the world, delighting patrons with its smooth and flavorful taste.

Cocktail Preparation

Pour the tequila into an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes. Add the Kahlua. Swirl the glass gently a few times to lightly mix the ingredients before serving.
