This cocktail dates back to the late 1700s and is the perfect open-ended drink. This cocktail has a great balance of sweet and spice, with brandy being the perfect touch.
- 2 oz Brandy
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Port Wine
- Soda Water
- Garnish: Freshly Grated Nutmeg
In a highball glass, ddd brandy and syrup. Add crushed ice, fill with soda water, and stir. Float port on top and top with nutmeg.
