A White Russian is a cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream served with ice in an Old Fashioned glass. The traditional cocktail is known as a Black Russian, which first appeared in 1949, but someone added cream to the popular drink, making deeming it the White Russian. Oddly enough, neither drink is Russian, but due to its primary ingredient being Vodka, it is where it gets its name.
Add the vodka and Kahlúa to an Old Fashioned glass with ice. Top with the heavy cream and stir.
