Cocktail History
The Pink Panther is a sweet-and-sour cocktail. The sweet taste of pineapple juice, orgeat syrup, and grenadine, mixed with lime juice makes this a fun poolside drink all summer long. The Pink Panther cocktail has been a pink-hued, vodka institution since it debuted in the late 1960s. The drink is named after the famous Pink Panther character viewed on television and in movies at that time. Although Pink Panther cocktails are still popular today, what makes them truly remarkable is that they’ve remained practically unchanged for more than 50 years! Fun to look at and delicious to enjoy – for many, Pink Panthers have been the always-welcomed guest at get-togethers for decades.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 4 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
- 1 teaspoon Grenadine Syrup
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Garnish: Pineapple Slice/Wedge
Cocktail Preparation
In a cocktail shaker with ice, throw in Vodka, orgeat syrup, grenadine, and lime juice. Shake until chilled and pour into a cocktail or martini glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and serve!
