London Mule

The classic Moscow Mule is a simple, refreshing cocktail that combines vodka, ginger beer and fresh lime juice and is traditionally served in an ice-cold copper mug. The drink dates back to the middle of the 20th century but became a staple cocktail in the early 2000’s. The variation of this cocktail substitutes the vodka, traditionally, for gin, and seeing that gin was practically born in England, we have the fitting name for this cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3 oz Ginger Beer
  • Garnish: Lime Wheel

Preparation

Fill a copper mug (or highball glass) with ice, then add the gin and lime juice. Top with the ginger beer and stir briefly. Garnish with a lime wheel.
