Kiss from a Rose
Cocktail History
Altering the lyrics a bit, BUT, here goes: “Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey, Ooh, the more I get of you… the more likely you’ll feel a nice buzz.” Inspired by Rachel Ray’s husband, John, the Kiss from a Rose vodka cocktail is fittingly romantic, but we’ve added some potency.
Ingredients
- 1-2 oz Vodka
- 4 oz Pink Champagne
- 1/4 oz Simple Sugar
- 1 oz Pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 dashes of rose water
- Garnish: Rose Petals
Cocktail Preparation
Pour the Vodka, Champagne, pomegranate juice, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Shake for 20-30 seconds or until chilled and then strain into a martini glass. Add 1/4 oz of simple syrup. Add a dash of rose water and stir gently. Garnish with rose petals and enjoy!
