Created in 1986 by Charles Schumann in Munich, Germany, the Jean Gabin is now considered a classic in the cocktail world. It was named after the iconic French actor and singer, and is the perfect hot delicious treat on a cold winter’s day.
- 1 1/2 oz Dark Rum
- 1 1/2 oz Milk
- 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup
- 3/4 oz Calvados
First heat up the milk in a pan until warm and frothy. Pour in the hot milk into an Irish coffee glass and add the rum and calvados. Stir in the maple syrup until it has dissolved. Sprinkle some nutmeg on top as a garnish and serve.
