Gold Rush

Gold Rush

Quick Facts

Cocktail History

The Gold Rush cocktail has become one of the most popular bourbon-based drinks in the world. It’s a sweet, syrupy twist on an Old Fashioned, but with a unique flavor all its own. What makes Gold Rush stand out is that it pairs tart lemon juice with golden honey syrup to give you a drink that’s not only flavorful and highly refreshing, but also surprisingly historical. The Gold Rush cocktail has been served since 1876 at certain bars across America, giving it a nod to bygone eras when alcohol was enjoyed without inhibition. Whether you’re experienced in concocting cocktails or just beginning your journey into mixology, Gold Rush can definitely be a go-to favorite you’ll come back to again and again.
