Quick Facts

Cocktail History

Gin Fizz is a cocktail that’s been enjoyed for generations. Its bubbly profile brings a festive atmosphere to any occasion – whether it’s a cozy evening celebration at home or a night out on the town. Gin Fizz was certainly ahead of its time, having made its debut in 1887 when mixed drinks were still few and far between. Gin lovers will appreciate this classic cocktail, traditionally made with gin, lemon juice, sugar, and soda water. Gin Fizz is approachable yet complex as well as sweet and tart – proof that the best cocktails are both simple and inventive! This cocktail is similar to a Tom Collins but with a creamy froth on top.

    • 2 oz Gin
    • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
    • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
    • 1 oz Club Soda
    • 1/2 oz Egg White

Cocktail Preparation

Using a glass-filled cocktail shaker, add the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white. SHAKE VIGOROUSLY!!! The secret to creating the perfect amount of froth is in the shake. Double strain into a chilled collins glass and top with club soda.
