Frenchie Negroni
Cocktail History
The Frenchie Negroni cocktail has a storied history that is as unique as the drink itself. The traditional Negroni made its debut in Italy decades ago and quickly became popular for its equally strong, bitter, and sweet flavor. However, it wasn’t until the frenchie variation was created by one of France’s leading bartenders that the truly unforgettable blend of ingredients were born. Combining gin, elderflower syrup and yuzu juice, the frenchie negroni is quenching and tart while offering a hint of floral citrus notes; an unsurpassable combination that was an instant hit amongst frat boys and sophisticated adults alike. Who would have thought combining these seemingly disparate spirits could produce such an unforgettable flavor!
