While it is famously mixed with gin, it’s equally impressive when you pour cognac instead. The brandy is one of the original options for this champagne cocktail and produces the ultimate French drink.
- 1 oz Cognac
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Garnish: Lemon twist
Shake the cognac, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice, and strain into a champagne flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with a lemon twist.
