Bahama Mama cocktails first began to appear in the mid-1900s and have since thrilled taste buds around the world. This classic cocktail features a blend of rum, coconut cream, orange juice, grenadine and more — so it’s no surprise that people love it! Bahama Mamas offer a unique combination of sweet and tart flavors for an unforgettable experience. Plus, Bahama Mamas are often brightly colored which adds to the delight.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz Dark Rum
  • 1/2 oz Coconut-flavored Rum
  • 1/2 oz Grenadine Syrup
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • Garnish: Pineapple Wedge

Cocktail Preparation

Combine dark rum, rum with coconut flavoring, grenadine, orange juice, pineapple juice and lime juice into a hurricane (or highball glass) with ice. Garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherries and enjoy!
